Spring's Progress

Stone Crop (yellow flowers)
I started with one small plant . . . have allowed it to self seed.

Stone Crop, daffodils, cranberry bush, and bindweed :-)

Chives & French Tarragon

Half of my herb garden, which is full sun, south exposure.
Front to back . . . thyme, sage, chicken & hens, and lemon verbena.
I cut the sage back in the fall to ontroll it's size . . . still reaches a height of 2 1/2 to 3 feet.

Do not remember the name of this oregano . . . new growth is a pink/purple.
See the baby thyme in the center?

Thyme in bloom . . . delicate flowers and wonderful fragrance.

Decided to cut down my purple sand cherry this spring, due to bugs,
rather than dig it up.  Should develop into a nice bush.
Front to back:  coreopsis (pretty but invasive), morning mist grass,
and yellow yarrow by the purple sand cherry.

Harry Lauder Walking Stick . . . will not see much of the
structure once it is fully leafed out.

Heavily leafed and budded rose bushes.

Heavily budded peonies ready to pop open!
Normally, these are in full bloom over Memorial Day weekend.
Just a wee bit early this year!
